Pan Pacific Suzhou -Including unlimited access to the 4A-level Panmen Scenic Area

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou and were thoroughly impressed by every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a suite, which made our stay even more special. The hotel’s exterior is beautifully styled like an ancient Chinese palace, offering a truly picturesque and culturally rich atmosphere. In contrast, the rooms are newly renovated with modern comforts, creating a perfect balance between tradition and luxury. One of the highlights is its proximity to the Pan Men Scenic Area—just a short walk away. It made sightseeing incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of both local and international options to choose from each morning. Everything was fresh and delicious, catering well to different tastes. Overall, Pan Pacific Suzhou exceeded our expectations and offered a unique and comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Suzhou! We will definitely stay here again if we were to return.

The hotel facade is beautiful, as is the interior. It is attached to the Panmen scenic area with free admission with your room card, making it a convenient sightseeing stop. I had a balcony suite that was large, modern, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of local and western varieties. The staff is warm and friendly. There's also a free laundry facility with 4 washers and 4 dryers for guests to use. The dryers' effectiveness is a bit lacking, but they will get the job done given enough time. It appears that the later in the day or evening, the busier the laundry room will get. It's best to get your laundry done earlier in the afternoon if you have the free time.

Located just next to Pan Men attraction with unlimited access to it. Facilities and breakfast are great! Special mention to their manager, the bell boy (both in the photo) and security staff who worked together to help me get my backpack left in the first didi car: We had quite a scare on our last day in Suzhou, but thanks to the amazing Pan Pacific Suzhou team, it all turned out well! My husband and I booked a Didi to Suzhou railway station as we wanna head off to Shanghai, but the driver refused to let us put our second luggage in the front seat since his boot had his box of stuff... so he told us to cancel the ride - and the moment we did, he drove off immediately. Everything happened so fast that we didn’t realize my backpack was still in his car 😱 It wasn’t until we were about to leave in another cab that I suddenly noticed it was missing. We quickly requested to pay the driver for the unfulfilled trip (since it was our fault), got out and asked the hotel staff for help. The manager and security team jumped into action—they checked the CCTV and confirmed that my bag was left in the first car. Meanwhile, I managed to contact Didi customer service to get the driver’s number. From there, the hotel manager personally called the driver, convinced him to help arranged for another Didi to bring the backpack back, and even made sure the driver will expedite his help to us by incentivising him with a "red packet" from us (so that the driver will be incentivised to help us solve our problem asap). Within 90 minutes, my bag was back in my hands. Very thankful to the team for all the help rendered! Well done and God bless you all! 😊

The real bonus staying in this hotel is the Panmen Garden connected to it. Take an early morning or late evening stroll, when there's no crowd, to truly enjoy its tranquility . When the Garden was lit up in the evening, the view was simply stunning. We could not finish exploring the Garden during our 2 days' stay there. There is a pagoda, a watch tower, an ancient city wall, and more, all within or connected with Panmen Garden. This is a good place to stay to quiet and calm one's soul. The breakfast was great too, with a good spread.
